Dulux PaintPodUPDATE: We’ve got hold of a Paintpod and have a heap of photos just waiting for you here. Check it out!

Painting walls just got a heck of a lot easier thanks to Dulux. The pigment-pusher has just unwrapped the PaintPod, a device that pumps paint directly to a roller attachment. No more bending down to load up that badboy – hit a button and the PaintPod loads its roller with the correct amount of paint.

And it even cleans itself up when you’ve finished decorating, taking a mere ten minutes to rinse all the paint out of its system. It does require its own 5-litre paint packs, as they’re formulated to just the right consistency to work with the pumping system.

Out April | £70, plus £20/£30 for paint packs

please reply if one can use this paint pod outside uk espectially with Nigeria brand dulux emulsion paint

You have to use special paintpod refills that are just the right size and shape to slot inside. Once you’ve bought one refill though, it looks like its possible to keep topping that up with normal drip-free emulsion although Dulux would prefer you to keep buying the refills of course. It’s a great product either way.
